I have some hemp, but haven't actually knit with it yet. I've heard that if you soak it and then whack it on a table or countertop, it softens it up a bit, like washing it will once you are done knitting.
I'm knitting with Hemp and really, really pointy needles that keep poking me! My hands are tired, too. Jane
Greenjeans looks amazing!!! Hemp's worse than cotton then?
I've never used hemp. Doesn't sound like fun. Why knit with something that hurts when there are so many lovely soft things out there?
